Default C-West CarbonFiber Lip.....

I'm about to order this, does anyone have the whole picture?
does it replace the plastic underCover that covers the oil pan?

also, I plan on doing it myself, will I have to take off the Bumper?
I hope not....

How hard is it to Install????

thanks

Here is a pic when I first installed it. To install without scratching your paint you will want to remove your bumper cover. That way you can flex the bumper when fitting the lip. It fits very very snug. Honestly I don't thing you even need the plastic rivets but its a good saftey measure. I installed my self in about 1 hour without removing the bumper cover but I did scratch the paint. But most of the scratches were covered by the lip anyway. You really couldnt tell. Ive since removed the lip and repainted the bumper.

The lip doent require the removal of any under cover because it only goes back about 4 inches total.

When I say bumper cover I mean the urethane painted bumper. To answer your question about it being lower. It makes your car about 3/4 of an inch closer to the ground. Not a huge deal. But you have to be carefull with driveways and speed bumps.

this is the best I have for the shot you are looking for. I bought mine in 2003 from takakaira.com before any of the US distributors had it. I haven't heard about this rumor that Cwest is not exporting anymore. Motorex (main cwest distributor) is shut down but that doesnt mean other people arent importing it.
