Default Weight in trunk??? spoiler too heavy!!

Ive read somewhere in here that there is a weight of some sort in the trunk that will make it a little lighter and easier for the trunk to open after putting a spoiler on it. I got the veilside ver 1 and now it seams like the trunk doesnt want to stay up that easy. Is there somethin in there that can be taken out to make the trunk a little lighter. Any help would eb appreciated.

If you remove the rear panel off the hatch you will see a black weight which can be taken out.

Other than that you will probably need new shocks to hold it open, mine is fine witht he fiberglass Nismo replica, it is a little hard to open but it stays open, some of the other spoiler hang further back on the hatch so they put more pressure on the shocks than the Nismo does which hand in from the edge.

you can grab the lower plastic cover (that covers the rear windshield wiper motor) almost anywhere and pull and it will start popping the cover off the bottom of the hatch, be careful if you pull from the sides first, there's different clips near the top. But if you pull it straight out it should be fine. Once you pull it off, right dead center is a retangular black bar with like butterfly rails, (can't describe it, theres a picture online someplace) But it has 4 screws. You can't miss it. It's cake to unscrew that and pop the plastic cover back on. My hatch stays up now, but i had to do the 2 penny trick and the furniture pad trick too to make it pop 100% everytime without having to hit the unlatch button again.
