wasnt time consuming, electronics are a hobby of mine. so no problem there. unfortunatly I designed it around a heatsink that was 99% for looks; partially for its heatsink properties(not much; since a heat sink still needs fresh air to dissipate heat to)

unfortunatly I ran out of heatsinks; so did the local shop that I was buying them from.

I cant find a replacement; without something there in that spot; the whole thing would look ghetto as hell. I have LEDs; resistors; and bases; I could make bulbs; but theyd be ugly.

Totally understood. Thanks for letting us know the update on what's going on. I'm sure a lot of us (especially us new Z owners) were getting real anxious to order from you.

I know it may be hard to contact me individually, but whenever you do start producing them again, let us know.

I'm another victim of the superlumination 194 bulb burnout. I was going to ask them for an exchange but it seems this is a systemic problem.

Ares let us know if you get back into this!

Anybody know of an alternative "high quality" source?

I decided to go with a halogen-xenon color bulb from MTEC. Which I am extremely satisfied in the color!

They look blue in the picture. Do they taint your headlights?

Lightbulb

Left pic is my headlights OFF!

Right pic is with my 6000k Ultinons ON!

Either way... sweetness. Hopefully they'll stand the "test of time".

Nice! They don't look as blue as I thought they would (which is a good thing). Did you get these off ebay?
