I know the best bulbs are Philips Ultinon, but the kit I'm unsure of. I don't believe they come in a kit (from Philips at least).
Further, if you're getting high beams, I wouldnt put an HID kit for those, as HID bulbs are ignited and warm up very quickly to extreme temperatures. It is not in their physical nature to be turned off/on quickly.
For the low beam IMO all is fair game.
Stick between 4500-6000k spectrum for best light. The higher you go the prettier the color, but the lower the lumens (actual brightness/visibility).
