Default Anyone paint there CF hood?

I just got a new CF hood OEM style and was thinking of painting the sides and leaving the middle unpainted. Kinda like a race stripe look, but Im not 100% sure yet. Has anyone done this yet?

Nah. They should be able to do it for around $100, no more than $150. It only requires really wetsanding to give the hood some texture, painting the hood, and re-clearcoating.

If anyones interested in painting an oem carbon Fiber hood Im selling mine for $150.

You could also do a candy coat the hood to make it match your oem color.

Heres a few examples from our site on a car that left the center carbon fiber.

Pm me direct if you interested in my CF hood thats for sale.

The pics are not of my car my car but I have a unpainted carbon fiber hood for sale for $150.

The process is not hard all the body shop needs to do is to just paint over sections of the hood.

Let me know if you looking for a Cf hood pm me.

Doesn't adding paint and a clearcoat to the hood reduce the weight savings by a lot?
