Basically the way that the housing is shaped and the position of the arms, the best orientation is just a little less bright then the original. WhatÃÔ cool is that one arm can be positioned straight up that make three little dots face back. The lights on the other arms, especially on the back, cause a pretty good reflection.

So my general impression of the spiderlites is that they add the LEDs light on/light off quick response with a little something different. If youÃÓe looking to fill the G35 or Acura TL taillight envy, this is not the product for you. Even though theyÃÓe not as bright and they do not look entirely different, IÃÍl still be keeping them install. I think that theyÃÓe cool and somewhat worth the money. The red 15 LED bulbs, like in superbrighleds.com, would probably be brighter and definitely cheaper.

If anyone wants any other pictures let me know. IÃÍl post some night pictures as soon as the sun goes down.

Okay, here's the last set of pictures. The pictures are at dusk. The brake lights are actually pretty bright and look pretty good. They look a lot better when it's not offset by the sun. I wish I would have left one regular light in for comparison, but now I'm too lazy to do change them around again.

Where did you get that LED front blinkers?! Brand? Price? Are they bright enough to be functional as blinkers?

Thanx in advance.

Sean,
I got them from autolumination.com. Here's the link: http://autolumination.com/3157_3156.htm

They're pretty bright, this is in the day time and night time. It's hard to tell in the pictures. I'd say as bright or brighter than the normal bulbs. The leds work great as blinkers because they have an almost instantaneous on/off response. If you do get them make sure you get the ones that have the perpendicular facing leds. I noticed there are a lot more styles now then when I got mine. You also need a resistor in parallel to prevent hyper blinking. The best thing is that there isn't a yellow reflection when they're off. I didn't do the rear bulbs in led because it looked the same because I have Bat's smoked overlays. I did do the reverse lights in led white, which looks pretty cool becuase they're really white, but it's a waste of money since no one really sees them on.

Kool. Thanks for the pictures.

Which one do we use for the front turn signals? 3156 or 3157.

bottom - are the bulb sizes 3156 and 3157 interchangable with 7440 and 7443?

Whoops I made a mistake. It's the 7440 or 7443 bulbs for the front blinkers not the 3156. Damn, I hope that no one made an order based on my mistake. Sorry if you did.

Here you go: http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm

The perpendicular facing ones that I am talking about are the 15 led matrix style not the 12 or 9. They're to get a couple leds to face the housing to light it up.

Yes, they are sold individually. For the front blinkers you will also need the resistor that they sell too. It keeps them from blinking really fast. Here's the link: http://autolumination.com/equalizers.htm

I would also suggest getting all the bulbs you want at once to save shipping costs. They charge a flat rate for all orders under $100 or something like that. I ended up getting the turn signal bulbs, the parking lights bulbs, the resistors, the reverse light bulbs, and the interior lights at different time and all on different orders and paying shipping and handling charges for each order. It's not too bad, but indeed a waste of money especially when sometimes the shipping charges are more than the bulbs.

Before I installed the yellow 15 leds in for the front blinkers I put them in the brake light spot to see how they would look. It was orange. The light did fill up the housing. I'm sure that the red would have looked a lot better, but I never had red one. The majority of the 15 leds pointed straight up which doesn't really help anything out. With the Spiderlites, they have one led on the back of each arms that face the housing, one of the arms faces to the back of the car, and the other two arms face towards mainly the read/clear housing, but I'm sure a little light either gets passed though to the back of the car or get reflected around.

ohh i meant the red ones for the turn light in the rear, not for the tail lights. Also is one resistor per light right?

One more thing which are the parking lights and the interior lights. Sorry for all the questions I am just ignorant in this topic.
