Default CF 5mm wider & vented front fenders prototype, *picts*

Well, here's my latest project.

Background: bought a set of stock front fenders from Jason @ Performance nissan. Took it to Fiberimages in hopes of getting something similar to the Options/Stream Z33 (the original one)

See foto:

But i wanted the vent, a little bigger/deeper, and to pull out the top of the fender about 1/4" (5mm) to make it flush with my 19" +22 offset TE37s.

so.. here are the prototype images of the plug we're gonna use to make them out of CF.

inside images..

the benefits of adding these vents are to reduce the amount of drag the front wheel produces as it is traveling at higher speeds. i intend to put a mesh covering on the inside and maybe on the outside to prevent crap from flying everywhere..

comments are welcome.. thank you..

stay tuned for vented hood design too..

Not very noticeable (the wider fender)...when will it be finished?
