Here's some good pics of a member that installed his Blitz Wing.

So does anyone know where I can get the grille I mentioned earlier? If I make this, how hard is it to do & how would you fasten it to the bumper? I want a nice clean install. Essentially, I want it to look similar to the grilles found on the Skyline GT-R's.

I don't know about the grill, but here are some more pics of Vertex Z's for you; I hope you haven't seen these shots before (the first link is in silverstone):

Should look great. Should I do the same kit? Hah, we can be like the Z twins of Nor Cal (different colors of course). I'd be interested in hearing what it will cost you and how it turns out. Could you pm some info about how to get the kit and how much it is shipped?

Thanks GQ. I've seen the pics on the 1st link you provided but not the one on the 2nd. The Vertex kit on that SB look so clean!!!

Dammit GQ!!! Now I'm even more anxious to get my kit.

It's really up to you. The reason why I went with this kit is because I feel it's one of the cleanest/simplest kits out there. I haven't seen anyone in the Bay Area with this kit/spoiler setup yet & I wanted to get something completely differrent. It definitely looks hella sweet on a DB as well. First time I saw this was on a member's car name ACP. Here's a pic of this kit on his DB:

Aww man! Should've told me you're interested. Probably could've gotten a group deal on this kit. I purchased the kit through Bozz Performance in Union City. Spoke to Alex. As soon as I get this kit installed, I'll definitely post a new thread with pictures.

didn't get my kit today. The color didn't come out 100% match due to the fact that there are few elements in the paint. They redo it. Come back tomorrow to install.

speaking of the kit, i think i am the ONLY one in the bay area having it. BTW James, any hook up you have for the big brake? looking to get 14"

Dayum..sorry to hear that bro . At least they are redoing it.

Yeah, I don't think anyone has your kit either. I think the majority is Veilside or Nismo. There are a few out there that have very unique kits such as whatever (Tommy Kaira), big-al (Ings Half Kit), saw one with a Stillen Kit at ZCG, & that's pretty much it I think.

Yeah, actually ACP is the reason I bought my 350z (looks wise). I'm debating whether to get the Ings half kit or the Vertex kit. The wheels will be the Volk SF winnings, probably in mercury silver.

A big positive I see is that the replica half kit is very cheap (and I know a relatively cheap high quality install place), so that is one big variable ahah.

peace!

Does anyone know where I can get a steel mesh grille to place towards the rear section of the air vents on the front bumper? Don't want those skinny chicken wire POS either. I want a nice, rigid, high quality steel one to protect my radiator & internals from rocks. I plan on having itt black so it won't stand out. Do body shops do this? I want this put one before they install my new front bumper.
So does anyone know where I can get the grille I mentioned earlier? If I make this, how hard is it to do & how would you fasten it to the bumper? I want a nice clean install. Essentially, I want it to look similar to the grilles found on the Skyline GT-R's.
Bump for grille question. Anyone know?

Okay, I found this grille kit browsing around the internet & it's already powder coated black. It looks good on the picture but I can't tell how thick the grille actually is. For all I know it's just as thick as those chicken wire types I'm trying not to get. Anyone have experience with this kit?

Sizes available are 47"x 8" & 47" x 16":

If not this, any other recommendations?

If you're talking about the dimensions I posted above, no it's not. 47" x 16" would be HUGE!!! It's the size of the sheet you still have to cut & modify to fit into your air vents. I'm not sure of the thickness of each wire so that's why I'm asking if anyone has expereience with this kit.

Did you mean Home Depot or OSH?

I was actually thinking about that but the next issue is, how do I actually make the dayum thing . I'm no way an expert in fabricating this kind of stuff & I want to have this look professionally done vs. a sloppy DIY. Got a tip from mgl about some guy who made one. I'll try to track him down & let you know.

let the body shop does it for you while they paint. Like the bodyshop that work on my car now, they modified the part so it will fit more nicely to the kit. No charge.
