I doubt there are copyright issues...but just in terms of ethics.

Shouldn't the CF be lighter than the Fiberglass or am I missing something?

Yes, make it so it will fit the Stillen SC. Combine the two hoods, so it is functional.

Seibon copied the Top secret hood! so why can't another company copy their TS style hood.

Dave, with all due respect, what are you posting negative comments in this thread for? You have a Seibon TS hood...

Hey I am a consumer as are most of you...I am out there for the best deal. BUT, I also own a company that manufactures parts for Nissan and Infiniti, and we've been in the position multiple times already where another company has literally taken our product, made a mold out of it, and sold it as theirs...it sucks. I understand that's how the market works, but it also tells you something about the company and the people behind it....ethically. It takes a lot of time and lot of R&D money to develop something new...when another company just up and steals it, it really does suck. The companies out there that develop new designs and are innovative are the ones that excel. I say try and come up with something original...yes it may be SIMILAR to another product out there, but take it, and improve on it. I for one would like to see something like the JGTC hood but more refined than the one that was posted earlier on. Not trying to cause trouble, I am all for new products!

You have a valid point. I would like some others people input on how we can improve it. You are the Z guys, I want to give you what you want.

Thanks

Dave, thanks for the reply. Glad to see you aren't someone who just flames a company for making a replica because you paid more for the original.

I agree somewhat, there are only so many mass-appealing designs you can do. The only thing on the TS hood I would want changed is for the vents to be further up, i'd have to see how it would look though.

That is the change we were thinking about. It might look better if it was moved up alittle.

I'd smooth out the sharp edges around the vents so it doesn't stick out too much. Then I'd take the lines closest to the center part of the hood & re-align them so that they follow the original lines of the hood. Then smooth that line out as well so that it gradually flow into the vents. Just a thought.

I would be interested in silver: Engine cover, Fluid covers, The wiper/vent cover around the fluid covers, Radiator cover and the JGTC style hood.
