im looking to enhance the rear of the Z by adding a roof wing, something subtle, yet noticeable. i fuggin cannot find them anywhere. does anybody know if there is a similar dimension that will fit up to the Z, even if i have to modify it a little, i dont care, im gonna paint it anyway. BTW, my car already has a bodykit and i want to enhance the kit with the roof wing.

Unlimited Tuning sells one but it's for a G35 coupe. Not sure if it will fit a Z though.

i was thinking maybe of the M3 trunk spoiler , does anybody know the dimensions of it ? The "lip spoiler ".

I wouldn't do it on a Z.

 

May look a bit weird on a Z since it's back is so rounded.

 

Sadly, mods for our car aren't cheap. I've paid $2-300 for very minor mods myself. Compared to the cost of somewhat similar mods, $175 isn't an outrageous price.

 

unless your cousins with someone at OVERHAULIN dont do it.

yeah, im looking for something subtle, not over the edge, i just want to get a little more outta the backend of the car without putting a HUGH wing on it.

heres a shot of my car from the side, you'll see what i mean, its missing something, either a higher, wider wing, or the roof lip ?? needs something to top it off.


if somebody could photochop a better wing, or the italin wing (mid high), i would appreciate it, to see how it looks, thanks guys.

 

You should consider the Giacuzzo (sp.?) wing...would look good IMO on your Z.

thats an E46 m3 or M5 wing. It is a very popular mod with the Audi guys. I had an Audi before and a lot of the guys had that. You can get one off ebay for like $49 bucks or if you want OEM it was just a bit more from the dealer.
If ya dont believe me do a search for a pic of the m3 spoiler or I can post pics of cars with them for you.

I think the roof lip would look like ****... Go for a higher/wider wing on the trunk. I've seen a car with the same rear/sides as ur's (diff front tho) with veilside vers 2 and that looked pretty nice too. But i've always liked to make the Z look a bit longer/lower personally.
