Yeah, right... "NISMO" seats for $266 a pair! Do you _really_ believe that you can buy a decent seat (phony NISMO or otherwise) for $133 a copy. What a crap-a-rama!

Save your $$'s for gas!

I agree that the price is way to good to be true. Anyone know how much the "real" NISMO racing seats are and where they're for sale? Thanks.

Seats run about 2000.00 for the pair. Contact Performance Nissan,, they had them for a while. One the reps that is a sponsor--I think Jason has a set in his car and Raved about them. You can also try www.japanparts.com

Pleather NisNo Seats... thats a better title for these crappy knockoff seats. very few nismo items on ebay are real... keep that in mind. its okay to have knockoff nismo oil caps and small things, but when u get NisNo seats, you might as well buy a 2 foot gtr spoiler

Wow! $2000.00 (am I reading that right?) for a pair of seats. Even if they're NISMO, that seems a little steep. I bet they rock, but I can't help but think that $2K would go a long way toward a FI kit instead...

PS--thanks for the info RANDY350Z

These are pricey, but if you plan to keep your car a good while, they are worth it from what I hear. Road and track did a story on the long nose Z, and they also raved about the seats. They also have a frost color and an alcentra type to.

Yeah, these seats are expensive, just one more thing for me to spend money on right? I guess now I just have to wait for my factory seats to "break or wear out" and then convince my wife that these NISMOs are the way to go!

2000 is just a small dent when it comes to FI, you'll need a lot more than that if you plan on having a proper setup. One BB turbo can run you 1000 or so. Start adding other components and you'll see how quickly things add up.

Assuming a pair of authentic NISMO seats DO cost 2000 and come with proper mounting hardware, I would say thats not too unrealistic. Most quality aftermarket seats are fairly expensive and DONT come with all the hardware. Seat brackets are not exactly cheap, they could end up running you a 2-4 hundred.

That's a good point. I was just thinking that since (for example) the Turbonetics kit is around $5K or so plus install, $2K would go a ways towards the purchase of that particular kit. Granted, I'm sure going FI always winds up costing more than originally expected, (if it's anything like the '72 chevelle buildup I did anyway, that project quickly spiralled out of control).

I hadn't thought of additional costs like seat brackets, if they're that expensive, then I suppose the NISMO's aren't too far out there price wise compared to some other quality aftermarket seats...
