Oil Temp Sender Location?

I am getting ready to install an Oil Temp gauge and I am wondering if anyone has any tips. I am planning on drilling and tapping the stock aluminum oil pan. Anyone have any suggestions?

I installed the JWT oil pan spacer. THen drilled and taped that. Madi it really easy and I added an extra quart of oil.
