ings & cheap don't go together. but that particular wing has been copied and thats what blue bat has. it nice too. i think unlimited was the shops name i think. they had it in cf and frp. shop is in the east coast

well its not plastic, its that FRP stuff. its very strong...very very strong.

 

yes it's a bit pricey but most copies require add labor to make it fit right. and at times you get a shiety painted piece or the fakey ends up costing more.

 

Yeah, replicas are no longer made--the quality and fit speaks for itself on the authentic wing.

eh, not worth it. makes it look cooler, but $700 could be better spent on some nice I.C.E.

 

i have the replica verion of the ing it fits like oem no prolbems at all worth the money real one get if if you have the cash too burn

 

I'm goign for the replica. I've been trying to talk to someone from Ings but no luck. All I'm looking for are the low mount set up. I talked to Bulletproof and they told me that they don't sell the parts seperate. Then I went ahead and asked him to see if they could email me or just mail me a copy of the instructions of the measurments for the low mount set up and they said no. I said give me a brake, I'm not going to spend over $2000 for a carbonfiber wing when I can get it for $1000. So if someone out there has a Ings GT wing would you be so kind to email me or mail me a copy of that stuff. This is a site to help each other, I need help.

If you want the genuine Ings LX half-wing, www.bulletproofautomotive.com has it listed for $497 for the FRP, and $574 for the hybrid aero (that's pre shipping). But based on what's been written above, you may not be able to get it separate from the rest of the kit. The other thing is that there may be a significant wait for the part to come over from Japan...

 

Actually Bulletproof Will Sell You The Wing Seperate, Its Just So Dam Expensive. And The Ones They Have Are Directly From Japan.

 

I got mine from Unlimited Tuning. Near perfect fit and finish. $200 bucks.
Its getting installed now. They told me that the wing required very minor prep work (like 1/2) hour and the fit was perfect. (There were just a couple bubbles in the primer they had to sand out. I will post pics when done.
