Do you mean a handle that pulls out in the opposite direction?
If so, then no I have not seen anything like that before...

hmmm if thats what you mean, then no thanks, youd be pulling your hand off the handle as you try to open the door... no leverage at all. end up slipping off it and falling back.

all so I can catch wind with the handle, and have the inside of the handle visible from the front.

Smile Leftside Door Handle

Sorry for not being more descriptive...
On the inside of the passenger door, there is an aluminum handle that the passenger uses to close the door once inside. On the inside of the driver door, there is no handle (at lest on mine there isn't).

I'm interested in purchasing one and adding it to my car, as it would make it much easier for me to close.

I'm not interested in any ergonomic ramifications that this may pose but, merely the existence of such a part and where I may purchase.

Thanks,
Stevie

ahh ok, well this is a resonable request. I was baffled why you would want the other thing.

basicly, that bar is there for leverage, the driver has the steering wheel for leverage, and therefore does not get the bar. others have expressed interest in it. but basicly... I dont think your gonna be able to get it, your sposed to close the door with the little cubby handle. many cars employ this same design of non-symetric handles.

Default Door pull

Reading "Lust Then Love" taught me the correct term for the part is "Door Pull". However, as I am still interested and, realize this part is in production for the Japanese (read right hand drive) version. How would I place an special order for it?

Thanks,
- Stevie

Default door pull

Hey people, this is my first post, but I've been a member for quite some time. I work at Herb Gordon Nissan in Silver Spring, MD.

The reason the driver does not have an inside door pull is so he has better access to the window and lock controls, and so he/she will feel less confined and have better left arm room. Hope this helps explain the reasoning behind it.

You cannot get one. It is not as simple as just buying a handle from a RHD car. You would have to buy the entire door panel. Even then, all the controls on the panel would be wrong and would have to be highly modified.

I don't see why it can't be a simple mod. Once you have the Door pull you take apart the door panel and then line up the pull and drill holes for the screw(s) that hold it to the door and then reassemble the door and attach the door pull. No??
