Default Intense FR LIP

Hey guys,
Anyone have or know anything about this real inexpensive front lip. It looks real good IMO and can be painted from factory for 85$. Total kit would be less than 200$. I saw the lip on Intensepowersports.com. Any feedback on quality and fitment issues? Cant remeber the exact name of the lip but it is the cheapest one on that website they sell and the only one that has a painting option. BEN

the lip is sturdy with pretty good fitment. the only thing is that it is too extreme (too long) and it makes the car look lawnmowerish. on a chrome silver, i would not get it, because the lines will be visible, and it will look like it doesnt belong. it looks good on superblack and daytona blue. i have a cs, and i am looking for a front lip as well.... wait for the GSC powerdivision front lip (see vendor classifieds, body/exterior for pics). there is a group buy that will eventually happen when the lip is perfected.

anybody else have opinion on these? I just scraped and bent the bottom of my bumper and these seem like a good way to cover it up until I get an aftermarket bumper, total of $300 including shipping though, ouch ><

fitment is perfect, but i didnt want to spend $500 painted for like a nismo so i got this one. If you do decide to buy it, just buy the lip and have it painted elsewhere. It took forever to get the lip painted and shipped out, at least 3-4 weeks. I was disappointed with their service. Easy to install, took like 10mins.

Ben-

I like this one:

TopSecret

Not the cheapest one, I know, but you wouldn't want to slap a $100 POS on your $30 grand car, would you? I learned not to go cheap with body mods when I had the 300zx...the Stillen stuff was garbage.
The top secret one acts as a diffuser and has its aerodynamic advantages.
I think that I will go with the gunmetal wheels and and the Carbon Fiber version of this lip.

TopSecret CF Lip

Also check out these guys:

Default Dream front lip

DAMN! That lip must just cut the air right in front of the car!! Like probably no wind drag whatsoever. Where do I order?

heh heh. I had to save that pix for future use. Thx.....

Hey - has anyone heard about Greddy Front lips cracking or splitting very easily? Myself and another 2 friends with Z's have split ours right in half. it happened at same point on all of our cars. Right where the 'punchout' is for the optional fog lights...on the right side.(Drivers) I am going to post pix, cuz I am angry about this! Greddy doesnt respond, and just ignores my requests for assistance to THREE purchasers of their products. I have like 5 Greddy products...strut bar, front lip, exhaust, shifter, etc...

Boners.

Y'know... I had another problem just like this with AEM. Great power increase, but crappy design. Right where the air sensor module is, there is a square metal fitting which vibrates pretty aggressively at higher RPM's....which is normal. But...it vibrated and turned clockwise rubbing through my high pressure air conditioning line.

They also....ignored me. I live right near them. I told them I would buy the part($80.00), they install the line(which was $400.00 in labor by Nissan) with their mechanics - who are very skilled, and this solution would cost neither of us much money. I gave them three weeks to respond, in the california summer, with no f'in A/C. Nothing.

That kind of **** bugs the hell out of me. In a rush to get stuff sold and on the market, the products have not got all the 'bugs' worked out - because they havent been installed or operated by enough people to fairly say it is a product without an 'error factor'.

So - now I am out:

AEM: $480.00 for a/c line & install

Greddy: $250.00 for lip purchase.
$180.00 Paint & Install
$90.00 Fog lights(i hadnt even had them on 2 weeks yet!)

In addition - I had to cut the original front body of the car to fit the fog lights in. So now I cant go without a front lip. ****. So add:

$200.00 New front lip
$180.00 Paint & install

Yeah. By the way. All of us split the Greddy Lip by hitting one of those little curbs infront of parking spaces. Not even 2 mph.

The original body plastics would NEVER break on that sort of thing. They would scuff, scratch, or flex. These things literally shatter like porcelain.

If anyone has any comments negative or positve =, please leave them here. I am debating taking these ignoring MF's to small claims court. Its not the shitty product, its the ignoring that burns me up. At least offer me something...like a replacement. I want the cost of paint and install too....but would feel "heard" and positive about the company if these unp[rofessional ****** would pick up a phone or email me.

Anyhow. Thanks for the opportunity to rant!

Comments? Again - I'll post pix if anyone responds.

Nice garage dude ^^^

I just bought the intense lip for my daytona blue. I saw it on az350's car the other night and the quality and fit looks great on his black z. I figure for a little over 200 painted, you cant beat it. I will post pics when it comes...

Thanks man, too bad the slobra and the 911 turbo are no longer a part of the family. Just for the record, my cobra ate up my dads 911 turbo. His turbo was pretty quick, probably trapped 117-118. It had an intake and Lemans exhaust or some crap. But we ran from a 40 punch one time. He punched it and instantly jumped me like 1.5 cars, i spun all the way thru 2nd. I shifted into 3rd and reeled him in hard and proceeded to put about 2-3 cars on him. The porsche and cobra will be missed, but the GT500 shelby will be out next year, so i better save up But as for the lip for the price it cant beat. It is sort of bulky and kinda sticks out farther then what i wanted, but i really cant find another lip for this price so im gonna stick with it. The fitment isnt perfect tho. U will have a few gaps. It may look good on a black, but u may be able to tell on a lighter colored car, but trust me no one could tell unless u pointed it out to them.
