I dont think the process is all that complicated, just time consuming. If you're just doing the center console and want it smooth, you'll have to sand out the little bumps. Then prime, spray, clear coat, and add layers as needed.

 

I just ordered red leather seats, arm rests, and the shift boot is next. Having the "boogiemike" guy from the other board paint my dash white or silver. He's done a few now and has reasonable prices. Hope everything comes out the way I envision it!

Ive had this in the works for a little while now. I just didnt know about the nav. I pulled everything tonight and came in the house to see this. Looks like someone beat me to the punch! But its nice to know mines going to look sweet in the end! Great job!

 

wtf? painted "Chairs" ?!? man, i dont know what that's about. but if you want interior pieces painted, there are plenty of people on the forums who have had it done. the guy who did mine was boogiemyke. the job is flawless and the paintmatch is amazingly perfect. and what's better? NO ORANGE PEEL like the crappy factory paint. here's the eye candy.
