Default Lambo Doors?

http://www.2loww.com/lambodoors888.html

I saw some people have modified their doors so they open like a Lamborghini. Does this modification reduce the safety of the car, or functionality of the door (leaks, noise, rattle etc)?

Has anyone here done this, and how do you like it?

Hey, if you have Lambo doors, post away. People might have a fresh perspective on them after being installed for a while. I'd rather hear first hand information then some stale thread. For the Search Natzi's, you have the option not to read the thread.

You're one of those people that thinks that if you do anything to a car that doesn't add power it's gay. Well lemme tell you something, a lot of people want to make their car stand out from the rest, unless you're racing, performance mods. aren't gonna do that for you. The guy asked if it reduces functionality and how people that have it like it, not what your opinion of it was.

Now, to answer his question. Some people have slight probems with the door not lining up right at first but after the shocks break in and a little fine-tuning they should close just like stock. You have to ba careful when you open them that you push them out far enough that they don't hit the A pillar when they go up.

The favorite kit seems to be the VDC Inc. kit. The Decah kits are supposedly harder to install. There is a more expensive kit that allows your doors to go much higher without swinging out as much. I think it's called the GT factory kit.

I have not heard one person say that they put it on and didn't like it. If you don't want to you don't have to lift the doors up. You can just open them out. They don't swing out as far as stock but they open enough to get out.

Are there any Lambo door kits that follow a track so you don’t risk hitting the A pillar? Last thing I need is a dumb passenger F'in up my car when they didn’t listen when I told them to push it our far enough.

Supposedly the LSD kit has a bunch of adjusters that allow you to keep the door from going up too soon. That is like the Bentley of vertical door kits. LOL
I think they are about 5k.

Guess what, I dont give a **** what you think. And btw, Im not one of those " people that thinks that if you do anything to a car that doesn't add power it's gay". I put aftermarket wheels on my Viper. They dont add HP. So, I would suggest that before you open your suck hole that you get your facts straight first.

One more thing. More power to the person that wants to make their car stand out. Just because they like it and think it looks cool doesnt mean I like it. So therefore I will state my opinion.

I have had mine for about a year.

No issues whatsoever with leaks of any kind.

Install quality is critical.

Definitely NOT "gay".

Minus the Lambo doors and body kit, your car looks sweet. I even like the wing.
