funny thing, mine did that as well but now the passenger does not even work at all. Already had to get the driver motor replaced now it looks like the same thing for the passenger. Thing is, when i got the car brand new in Nov 2003 (it is a 2004 model) i had heard there was some problems with the window motors for the 2003's. seems my car got some of the leftover 2003 motors. they would always roll down real sluggish until the driver side went out. after replacing it the window is lightning fast and no problems at all. i noticed the difference when rolling both down, driver side went down faster. going to day to get my passenger window replaced, all covered under warranty of course

temporary fix....bang on the door while hitting the switch to put the window up...you need to hit it right above the change holder
permanent fix....need a new motor, if under warrenty they will fix for free
edit...sorry i thought your window wouldn't go up at all (in your case, they just recalibrate the motor with some computer)

The kicker is that it is called an 'adjustment', which Nissan only covers under warranty for 12mo/12k. So 1 hour labor is around $92 to 'adjust' something that doesn't work.
After dealing with Nissan on the tire feathering issue and seeing how they treat their customers, I have 'adjusted' my description of the Z from "my 5th Nissan" to "my last Nissan"...
