Should I even get a wing? Here are a few pictures of the Z. I love the way she looks, and call me conceited, but I am very happy driving her around just the way she is.






However! The more I drive around and see different Z's the more I wonder if maybe a wing would look good on her. So what do you guys think? Should I wing it? And if so, what wing should I go with. The only wing I would be opposed to was nismo, one its too common, two its too BIG, three I am trying to keep it looking classy and the nismo wing just seems a little too aggressive and gaudy.(no offense)

And hey, if you think the Nismo wing on my car is gaudy...wait until you see the hydraulically actuated wing on the car out in my garage....it's f*cking outrageous :O :O :O I'll be back to New Orleans in 3 days I wanna show you this thing!!! I have it up in Savannah for the weekend

 

I'm in the same boat that you're in lol! I don't want something too racer looking. I'm split 50/50 on if I even want a wing or not. The Z has a sexy rear already..I don't want to fix something that aint broke. Hey what lip and side skirts are those?

 

Nismo JDM rear and sides and Veilside V1 front lip in urethane.... back on topic... HELP ME OUT!

 

If I had to choose..I'd say either the veilside ver. I, or the Ings rear trunk wing. The Ings is really small, simple and minimalist, kind of looks like a porche wing. What were you thinking of??

 

I am actually thinking of the Blitz wing. Either that or the OEM wing. Something small but still following my "classy" theme.

 

I bought the Blitz Wing & I'm waiting for it to come in later this month. I think you & I are looking for the same thing. Something lowprofile (similar to OEM) but more aggressive. If so, here is a listing of wings I was considering:

I absolutly love the blitz wing. But I havent ever seen GOOD pictures of it. I have some pictures of it on a silverstone Z with the ings half kit and it looks great. How much did your blitz wing cost and where did you get it from?

I bought mine from a local shop here but they're known to have issues so I can't really recommend them just yet. I've been waiting since March but then again, it's because I purchased the wing with the Vertex full kit which needs to get shipped from Japan. I think the wing itself was around $350-$370 but I don't really remember off the top of my head right now.

 

Yeah. I really liked the Central 20 as well but it's quite expensive (around $500-$600) & it's a 6-8 week wait since it's a special order from Japan.

BTW...I also considered the Trial wing but that's just as expensive if not more. Not sure if you'll like it though since it flares out more aggressively.

Hmm? That wing doesn't look too bad. Looks pretty close to the Central 20 wing. Not sure about the quality though.

 

W O W. I love everything about the blitz wing except the side view. But I am wondering if the side mount point will be hidden by the black car. (black hides some lines very well) HMMMMMM

Well you already know what I'm going to pick .

 

I have been looking at OEM wings for the past 20 minutes. Looks like I can get one PAINTED by spoilerdepot.com and shipped to me for around 180. might be a good idea. My girlfriend loves the stock spoiler and the blitz would end up costing over 600 after paint.

 

Chris, id go with the stock wing, i think it looks great. Im debating between the blitz and stock cuz i have the ings half and the blitz's lines go pretty well but im thinking about goin with stock as well.

With the nismo kit and the lines it has, id go with the stock wing, itll look good and be noticible just like a stock wing, but like the nismo kit, isnt very gaudy and just ads to the lines. Thats my opinion, i think the stock wing has a very nice appeal to it.
