I will be watching this thread closely as I too plan on getting a "fake" Nismo wing for my Z. I would like to add that I have the OEM wing now and how do we know which ones cover the holes? Thanks

I had a replica for my previous z and all the jdm style replicas will cover the holes.
it is the usdm nismo spoiler that does not cover them.

from the research i did it seems like VIS is a good company to use. and the guys on ebay claiming to sell VIS wings have them for something like 200 shipped to your verified home billing address

Has anyone had any experience with the pre-painted Nismo style wings? Does the color come close to matching the factory paint?

VIS is what everyone gets. It's pretty good out the box, but there are minor flaws on the fiberglass (very small) that can be sanded and smoothed and probably filled with a good primer coat. A good prep will fix those minor flaws, also if the body shop is good, they can adjust the wing so that it sits even. The fiberglass on mine was slightly higher on one side, so one side of the wing practically sits on the hatch, the other side is off by 2-3mm. You can't tell looking from the sides/back but if you look from the bottom you will see the gap. It wasn't a big deal to me since i got it done pretty cheap. I might take it back though since i don't like water leaking in when i wash the car and then immediate open the hatch, water will run into one of the holes that i assume were left open from the oem spoiler. So ask about all that when you get yours put on. My body shop also had a ppg mixer, and the paint came out perfect. Also have them take out the extra hatch weight. It's 4 bolts and they can do it easily, they shouldn't charge any extra to take it off.

The real nismo wings (USDM) are painted and are an exact paint match, they are pretty light since they are made of the same material as the bumpers. I"m not sure about the real (JDM) nismo spoiler since that one is made of fiberglass too.

I have Track spoiler, bought at dealer, the fit is perfect and the color match is perfect.

Installation instructions and templates provided to drill holes *very* well done.

Don't forget to install front spoiler and underbody rear diffusers if you want full track package.

So if I order a Nismo wing from Performance Nissan, will it come pre-painted and ready to bolt on? How about the Nismo front lip? I don't want to mess with getting a wing painted etc.
