Ok so I just wanna get some opinions here. My Z is pretty stock & Im thinking bout getting a nismo wing. Do you think itll look dumb when theres nothing else done to the car? I cant afford rims right now.

 

Don't worry, the Nismo wing will look fine on a stock Z. Which Nismo wing are you getting? The JDM or USDM? I see that you are in NYC also, if you are interested in the JDM or JDM replica, my local motorsports store sells them for a decent price.

 

i dont see any problem with putting a nismo wing on your stock z - you have to start somewhere, and if rims arent in the budget i dont see whats wrong with starting with the wing. if you like the nismo wing go for it.

 

we all have to start somewhere. i don;t think it would look bad to start with a nismo wing. there are others as well like the blitz, trial, veilside v2 that will long fine with the stock body lines

Personally, I think the Nismo wing looks good only when combined with the rest of the body kit. On a stock Z, I think it just looks a little out of place. That's just my opinion, with no offense intended to those who feel differently.

If it were my money, I'd go with springs to lower the stance, and possibly some sway bars to tighten up the handling as a first mod.

That's all I have right now for the exterior and it looks great. Glad I decided to get it, I wasn't all that big on the back end stock, but the Nismo wing adds alot of style IMO.

 

I'm getting the Stillen Type 1 wing. I think it looks great on a Z.

 

I dont like the one thats touching the car... so i think im going with the US if im not mistaken.... I just hope it doesnt look silly.. i don t have any intentions on getting a full kit...

 

hey bicker chick the USDM nismo wing doesn't really look that good. i think it falls short. there are some pics in the forum of both JDM & USDM. there are some JDM that doesn't touch the hatch.

 

every pic i find is different.. i dunno wha to believe!!

 

best thing to do is go to a nissan dealership that carries a USDM nismo spoiler and have them place it on top of the hatch carefully. most local speed shops can get access to the fake JDM nismo spoiler. or go to a local meet and see if anyone has it and ask them about fitment and install.

 

w/o a body kit, the jdm will look the best.
the usdm will look fine, but imo could at least use the nismo lip
(i've tried both, so I've seen it first hand)

 

Maybe Ill wait for Z day....

 

well if you are considering other wings i'll post pic of my wing and other should follow suit. who knows you might find something else. not to say there's anything wrong with the nismo. i almost bought that wing before i went with the INGS

 

I dont wanna go ricey with my car... all i plan on doing is the 35th anni wheels, the wing, grill, clear lights, maybe tint........

Just my opinion but I think the Nismo wing looks out of place without the rest of the bodykit. I think the stock lip spoiler or something similar goes well if it's just the wing.

Btw nismo33 hows your rear view mirror look with that wing in it?

 

can still see pretty good out the rear view.
