Default question on smoked lens

i've seen smoked lens on many different cars and i know there are spray paints and films you can use. My question is which is better and which brand (also where to get) is the best? Back on my old civic I just used clear candy apple hobby paint (which looks good for a year at most then starts fading to crap) I want something that will look good and last for my Z. Thanks

I have a brand new, never used set that I'll let go for $20 if you can pick them up (NorCal).
