About the blind spot...
Hi everyone,
As a 350Z noob (I got it two days ago), I was wondering how everyone is going about handling the big blind spot on the car when driving. Did anyone get any blind spot mirrors, or anything else to remedy this? It's kinda scary on the highways here in Los Angeles....

I angle my mirrors away from the car a bit more, check them often, and do a couple head checks when changing lanes. It's still a tense moment every time.
I also try to drive a bit faster than everyone else, and change lanes right after I pass someone so I don't have to worry about someone sneaking up from the side as much. One close call in over 5000 miles, but saw them in the micro-window behind the passenger seat in time. Other than that no problems.

There aren't blind spot in Z
It's all about how you adjust your side mirrors. If you position them to duplicate central mirror, then yes, you've got yourself a big blind spot. But if you position them much more outward the car, you'll cover all of your blind spots.
Go to the parking lot, position another cars into your blind spots and adjust side mirrors so you can see the cars. Then check setup again on the road, when you approaching traffic light. With right setup car in side lines should be visible to you directly, then visible in the side mirror, then when living side mirror it should go into central mirror. I stress it again that before you can trust your mirrors you should double check that they adjusted properly.
After that with a little practice you'll be able to drive withoud turning you head to check blind spot (which you can't see anyway). If your side mirrors clear - you are clear.
