Default Some things I'm working on

For those who dont know or care I hit a deer last week and messed up the front end of my car, suprisingly the insurance company has been very helpful in putting my car back on the road even though it is completely modified. The deer ended up causing $5,000 worth of damage so I may be taking up deer hunting as a new hobby this fall. Here is a picture before the accident:

Heres a picture I took with my camera phone afterwards:

Damn it just breaks my heart to see that picture. Well my car is twin turbo'd and the intercooler never got direct airflow and the temperatures under the hood stayed pretty high so I've decided to go with a top secret replica bumper and CF vented hood:

Couldn't find a Top Secret bumper on a black G so this is the best I could find.

There is a guy that does an AMAZING job on headlights, he originally put bmw projectors for my low beams but now he's going to do that plus put M3 bi-xenon's for my fog lights/high beams so I wont miss the next deer that jumps out at me:

I'm getting the whole car painted as well, hopefully everything will be done before the next big show here in Atlanta. I was looking at finding sponsorships but I've pretty much done everything out of pocket up to this point so I dont know what else can be done other than rebuilding the engine.. and I'll be able to do that next spring.

Good to hear it's working out for the best!
What guy do you know that does the BMW projector conversion? does he have any examples of what he can do with a Z's headlights?

hmm, well he's done G35 sedan headlights which are a little different.. I'm pretty sure he can do Z headlights too. The problem is he stays so busy he doesnt get much time to do them, only reason he is doing mine is cause he did them before the accident.. but I will ask.

Thanks! The hard part right now is the wait, I probably wont have my car back until august. I didnt even get dinner out of the whole ordeal, the deer apparently brushed itself off and ran into the woods.

I'm just going with the bumper and the hood, and keeping the rest of the kit I have on the car right now. I've seen carbon fiber on a black car and I dont really like it so I'm going to paint the hood black.

No vented hood but the rest of the parts are in, the guy that does the headlights currently has mine and should be shipping them back next week. The big holdup has been progressive.. if you have more than $1000 in aftermarket parts leave progressive alone!!!!!
