Also in an unrelated coincidence I ran into a gentleman at the Bodyshop with a 911 Turbo. He tuned out to be Quirex, A former poster and now a lurker on this forum. You can see him in th first thumbnail in the blueshirt.
Glad to see a fellow Z owner graduate to a Porsche.
No big deal I just thought it was interesting that I didnt know this guy from Adam and we both turned out to be forum members!

Joust, you have the HUR kit right? I think thats the same one I got. I still dont have the rear though. Just wondering, did the front need to be extended on both sides? When trying to see how low it was in my garage, I noticed that it was short on either side. Please fill me in. The rear and sides seem to be a damn good/decent fit though.

However fiberglass was very thin and we had some cracks on application. Lip and fender had to be bonded to existing body panels and then prepped. Quality was not what I expected. But hey I paid next to nothing for it and my friend at the shop is reasonable.
My Ings style wing was from another manufacturer and the fiberglass was sturdy thick and primer finished unlike the HUR kit. Just had to get a minor chip (from shipping damage) molded out. I got the wing through Unlimited Tuning. Sadly I dont think it is available anymore.

Sorry guys I have not posted pics yet. Had to take the car back to the shop because of several things. Lots of imperfections. Not only that they forgot to put the plastic panels of the rear back in! I didnt notice till I was home!
I got it back todayIt looks sweet. i will post pics tomorrow.
However I cannot reccomend the HUR replica kit. Okay fitment but shitty quality. Looks good now but it did cost me extra. Not nearly as much as the authentic kit and install but it still was pricey.
My B+G springs I already had on lowered the car 1-3/4. (When I ordered them I thought it was only 1 inch.)
WRONG! Between the springs and the Lip on the front the practicality is ridiculous!!! I was already high centering over big speedbumps, now the lip scrapes on moderate bumps no matter the angle of approach. I ordered the TEin S tech springs (roughly .7 inch lowering) So I dont have to worry about Effing up the weakass fiberglass of the kit.
Part of the reason I took the car back was to fix a crack that devloped on the outer corner of the lip (driver side) When I was driving home. It happened at a shallow dip on a twisty road on the way home.
Anyways, pics tomorrow dudes.
I will post my sig to give you an idea of how low my car was before the kit...
