Default Recaro Seats

I have been looking for these for a while, with no luck. Does ANYONE know where I can get these seats?

Those are hot. I haven't had much luck finding information on hardly ANY Recaros. Have you found any other good vendors for them? In any case, good luck, and keep us updated on your results.

Wow! Those are hot! Wonder if they can have red lettering instead of yellow. Keep us posted. I'll keep an eye out for these as well.

well, if you guys really want the seat, can easily be had.....there is a wait time, and the cost is about 1/5 the price of the car (for the pair)

I found a guy that emailed me back - he was from their UK distributor - but he stopped returning my emails after telling me that he would contact his colleagues in Japan for info - he said they would be about $2795/ea (includes a massage system!) I asked about changing the color of the lettering, and he told me no, but the US version has silver. That was it - then a dead end. These are the only seats I liked enough to get, since I do want to replace my current ones with leather eventually. Anyone know of anything close? I don't think it is going to be possible to get these even if I wanted to spend the cash.

That's amazingly expensive. For other seats though, have you looked at Cobra? I thought the name was a little cheap at first, but from learning more I think they must have pretty good quality. At first I wasn't interested because of their seats being leather, but now I'm kinda of thinking about it. Also, a Bride BRIX II, XAX II, or Ergo II in gradation leather would be awfully hot in case you haven't looked at them...

Contact Speedware Motorsports (425-869-5680) or www.speedwaremotorsports.com. They are the largest Recaro distributor in the US and can get all kind of rare Recaros seats including JDM Recaros.

Thanks for posting that link - I will look into it. Might have to knock over a 7-11 to get the dough, but it will be worth it no doubt.

Looks like they got em - I am waiting on some more details - there is even a power option. I'm orderin! The only part I am unsure of, is they asked me if I need the brackets and mounting hardware - I thought they would bolt right into the stock mechanism, but I dunno...

Not sure I understand your question, but I assume the power option just replaces the handles with a button that does the same thing. Not really worth the $500 they want for the option.
