Should I shave "Veilside" off of my front lip?
What do you guys think?
I just received my urethane Veilside V1 lip and dropped it off at my bodyshop to get it painted. Since I tend to hate labels, I was thinking of having them shave the word Veilside off of it. Opinions?

i actually like the veilside stamp.
its one less question i get asked when people see my car and wonder what kind of lip i have.
but it is a lil harder to put a clear bra cleanly on.

Thanks for the opinions. I was leaning towards shaving it, but after calling my bodyshop, he quoted me an extra $160 to do it. That's in addition to the $450 quote to paint and install. Besides the shaving itself, he explained that the surface under the shaving will be porous and he will have to use urethane repair material, etc...
Before you all start telling me I am being r*ped, remember I am in the San Francisco bay area where everything is outrageusly expensive. Also, this is one of the most reputable bodyshops around and he has worked on my cars for the last 10 years.
The original $450 quote was done by one of his service reps who doesn't know me. After talking to the owner, he said it will probably be less than that.

I just had my V1 lip installed and I left the veilside name on it. I actually like it since ppl tend to know the brand and won't acuse me of buying a replica. but $450 is quite a bit for install/paint. I had my whole front and rear bumpers repainted along with the install and painting of my lip for $600.
PS: nice SN95TT setup, I used to have a 95 GT...

I thought long and hard about shaving it too, but it's so subtle you don't really see it unless you walk up a few feet. Kinda distinguishes the real thing from all the replicas being sold.
I kinda wished it was recessed into the urethane instead or portruding like it does. It would look much nicer.
