THERE WILL BE NO SUNROOF OR TARGA FROM NISSAN. this was cleared up long ago, they claim the room is too sloped to make either work. as for aftermarket, you coudnt fold it back into the roof, it could fold over, but it would block your trunk. or you could get that fabric type that is solid when closed and folds up to open, but I hear they leak.
in 2004 there will be a convertable model, thats as close as you get.

They are coming out with a new Z that is suppose to be a true convertable but i don't know what kind of top it is suppose to have. They keep pushing the actual date back but from what I hear it is early to mid summer of 2003. But would it actually be wroth the wait?

it will be soft with a glass window. no pics yet. should cost about 3-4000 more than hard top. same packages, tho they might not all be offered, like you might only have performance, touring and track options, but the features will be the same.
hope this helps. and I think there currently at mid summer, tho itll probably be august as a 2004 coming out when 2004 models come out... in august, and september.

The new convertible won't look that great in my opinion. I think it's going to destroy the lines of the car. Unless it were to be a retractable hardtop, which it isn't, the coupe will still be the eye catcher IMO.
Also, the only sunroofs I like are the ones that are body color mathched. The glass sunroofs take away from the appearance of the car when closed.

the general idea is there tho, and the same as all the other chopped pics, I dont like it. you dont get to see that raked headline, and hatchback is the only way to go for a 2 seater, it makes the cabin feel larger, keeps it from feeling stuffy and clostrophobic(yeah yeah, CONVERTABLE, but its gotta rain sometime)
