I must say that is a terrific job....That Z sure looks sweet. I really like the 2 tone seats.

why did you not put the rear skirts on?

kit looks good.. black is easy to match. my DB is taking a while for the paint shop to get it perfect.

Nice!
Kinda of makes the 18" rays look even smaller though.

Finally, the wait is over and so as the sweat on my ***** J/K

The outcome is two thumbs up dawg

The pics are great and all are saved on my Desktop for the future drooling.

Let us know on the wheel you've decided. The Te37 19" (Bronze) would look pimp in my opinion.

I wanted to see how it looks without them. I don't think they make a big difference but I'm actually installing them now. I've got one on and working on the other.

i'm not really a fan of riced out bodywork and wing spoilers but yours looks really nice. the thing i don't like about the back end of the Z is that it just drops off too quick and the 300zx kind of had a flat deck that flared up at the end which looked really nice and your spoiler kind of recreates that. i wish i could see one in person but your pictures are nice! rear wing spoilers aren't for me but it looks really nice!

Does anyone want to tell me why there is a weight on the hatch. Weight = bad. I know there is a logical reason for this but, ugh, its WEIGHT!!!

Agreed. Wheels are my next purchase. I'll be asking all the photoshop experts to "chop" my car with some nice rims.

TE37's in Bronze & Merc Silver
GT-7's in Merc Silver, Gunmetal/polished.

Any volunteers?

I've got pics of wheels if you need them (though they are all from various locals of this site).

Thanks! The TE37's are an option. I'm gonna need to see some Photshopped before I buy any though.

I've never liked body kits either but I saw photoshops of the NIMSO bodykit in mono-color posted by 8702 and Brad4rdHay and fell in love.

Shaun: I absolutely love your car. Can you take some pics when you get the rear pieces on? Great tip on the weight thing.

I can't answer your question completely but I can provide some interesting facts.
  • It doesn't way much. Maybe 2 lbs.
  • The weight is suspended by 4 rubber "connections" to the metal bracket. Some type of shock absorption? I guess so that when the hatch is closed, it doesn't "jar" the hatch.

My guess is that it helps latch the lid when it is shut, so that you don't need to slam it, but without slamming it.

Thanks Bonz, and yes I will be posting more pics when I get the rear peices completed. I'm guessing tomorrow.

I was kinda hoping for some feedback on how it looks without the rear skirts. Anyone want to share their opinion? Unfortunately it's probably hard to tell until you can see the car with the skirts to know if it looks better without the skirts.

Oh well, I geuss once they are on they'll stay on so...

What was your total cost again?

Including price, shipping, taxes/import fees (if any), painting, installation?

Awesome kit. By far the best one I've seen still.
