Finally got the car back last night. It's been raining here ever since so the car is dirty again (no not still). I don't expect it to clear up for a few days so I won't bother waiting to wash it.

Does that nimso rear spoiler block any of your rear view...i am going to install it in s few weeks......Hoe long did it take?...and how long did you have to wait for shiping?

 

The rear spoiler sits right in the middle of the rear view. It actually doesn't bother me though. It's thin enough to not "get in the way"... or maybe I'm just very tolerant.

I paid extra for Air freight so it only took about 1 week to clear customs and everything.

It doesn't take long to install but take your time because you want to drill the holes very acurately. Also, because you use double stick tape where the spoiler meets the deck lid, you need to set it down acurately because you won't be able to slide it around to match the holes.

 

I know these aren't NISMO but I thought I'd post it anyway.

One word. COOL!!!

 

BTW, when you install this spoiler make sure you remove the weight on the deck lid. If you don't, you'll need to lift on the lid while puching the button to open it because the additional weight of the spoiler. The lid pops up but not far enough to clear the latch. After the weight is removed it works fine.

The instructions may mention this but it's in Japanese so if it does I couldn't read it.

For those that have asked...

I have marked the location of the holes from the factory spoiler.

• Red: ~1/4" holes
• Yellow: ~1/2" holes for clips.
