Those three items are all required in rearward lighting, so it really doesnt matter that the three reflectors up top are clear. However, if the entire tail light was clear -- that would be illegal. The way cars meet DOT requirements with all clear tail lights (ie: Lexus RX330) is that the bumper has a rear reflector and rear side-markers/reflectors, all of which are required. So, yeah.. you technically CAN have an all-clear setup. However, this is not something we would ever sell.

We are already developing optional lamps for the `06+ Z33, so just keep your eyes peeled. As soon as they are done, high-res images will be posted online. Although, something tells me that the `06 lamps just dont look as nice as the original Z33 lamps -- but who knows, maybe I'll change my mind when I get more accustomed to the them. As for now, I just dont like it. Same goes for that new Miata.. whats going on lately??? :-)
