cleared my headlights
it was a spur of the moment thing
started at 1 am and finished this morning at 6. it took me awhile beause i took a break every 10 min.
i think it looks just fine with a clear strip or without.
followed the instruction guide that ricks2k has. which is excellent btw. if you are worried about putting your headlights in the oven dont worry.
i had to put the headlights in the oven for about 25 minutes at 225 degrees to pry apart the headlights. they look just fine.
the results:

yeah i did it myself.
i think anyone can do this mod if you have a free day and another friend to help or talk to while doing this.
the only tools you need to go buy is silicone.
heres a night shot. i took out the sidemarker and parking bulbs.
i just have the hid, highbeam, and turnsignal bulbs.
i think it looks much cleaner. i need some 6000k bulbs in there and im set.

I'm not saying it looks bad, definitely looks clean. But up close, you notice the hole.

i really didnt plan on clearing the headlights out until like 1 in the morning.
just decided to do it right there and then so i had no choice but to put no diffuser there.
i plan on blacking out the headlights this weekend so that entire part will be black so i don't think it will be very noticeable then. maybe ill order a diffuser. ill wait and see how it looks blacked out.
