it fits better than i thought i'd fit, but if you want my honest opinion... well you probably wouldn't like me too much if I gave you my opinion, but watever floats your boat.

ps.
on a side note I saw a DB Z at a Chinese mall the other day and it had the most ridiculous wing I've ever seen. It's not only because it looks like a F1 wing but it mostly because the guy actually left his stock wing on and drilled wholes in them to but the new one on......

Any constructive thoughts on a soltuion?
How old are you? 10? I called your bike ugly in the playground and now you will go tell my mom? LMAO

If you can't digest a comment as respectful as "that looks tacky", then take my advice, leave these forums ASAP and ask your loving friends and family for their opinions instead as they are unlikely to hurt your feelings. You are sharing your car's pics with an online community so might as well get used to listening to others' constructive opinions. What else would you consider constructive? Me asking you to take that ugly thing off your car altogether so you don't have to worry about 4 break lights in the first place? 'Coz that would truly be my heartfelt "constructive" opinion.

When my Z arrives, I will post pics here the same day. Please do share your honest opinion then. I would neither expect, nor desire, anything less.

I don't think the wing looks that good on a Z. But if you like it, it's all good.

don't sweat the haters. with every mod you do, there will be someone who won't like it.
i have the wing's light hooked up, and i've received tickets for many things, but never for the wing's light.
nice job on the wing.

I think it looks great. I agree with Z BOY's statement. There isn't a single thing you can do to a car that will please EVERYONE. But it doesn't matter because it's your car and you do what YOU like, not what you think others will like.

Personally, I love the look of that spoiler on a Z.
On the subject of the brake light. I would've had the one on the spoiler shaved off. If I were in your situation though I would dis-connect the stock 3rd brake light. 4 lights must look kinda strange.

Here's picture of mine. I did not install the brake light. It is just two screws to take it off and looks pretty good without it IMHO. I decided since I was going for the black/silverstone concept to paint mine black. I like it with my Limo front tint and bra combo that is on my car.Mine has been on the car for two years. No problems at all. Some like it, most don't.

$65 used G35 Factory spoiler ebay. $7 for Black paint. 4-5 Hours of fitment because demel tool trimming, body putty, and painting required.

Have had quite a few compliments on it. At the last 350Z meet there was over 100 at our meet in the Bay Area. No other car had one.

I like it because it is different and sets my car apart from others.

The shaving the light off is a good idea, i'll have to look into that.

I won't be able to make it to the meet this weekend i've got some plans with my dad... so the next meet.

Actually, you don't have to shave off the light you just have to take out the two screw that hold the LED assy in place. It comes out cleanly. I hope they painted your wing before they reinstalled the LED assy. They should have so it will look awesome.

Just tuck the wrap the LED harness with electrical tape and stuff it into the open/hollow cavity in the spoiler. You want to do this just in case you decide to use the one in the spoiler at a later date and disconnect the one in the window.

Best of luck .... shouldn't take but 30 mins to do.
