i have a question for anyone who might know-

there is a brake light in the wing, so now there are 4 on my Z... does anyone from virginia know if this is illegal? So far all I have got is:

"yeah its illegal but they won't stop you because your car is safer"

B.S. - my friend got a ticket for too many fog lights, so i know if its the right cop on the right day i'll get a ticket - if its illegal to have 4 brake lights

to the other people with G wings on their Z - what did you do? did you disconnect one of the lights? i have pictures of other Z's with the wing but i can't find one where i can clearly tell what they did... any input will help me out guys

thanks usmanasif, i don't remember disrespecting you or your z you plan to get, so how bout you lay off mine? I'm glad you think it's tacky, I'm not such a fan of the 4 myself, but the only solution I see is to disconnect the natural one up top, because its less noticable when its not engaged. Any constructive thoughts on a soltuion?

yeah it was a little bit of work to get it installed, I had a custum paint shop around here put it on, real good guys over there. It did take them a day longer than expected though, getting everything to fit, but in the end it came out nearly flawless. I actually ordered the wing from trimking1 i think is his name, on ebay. he sells lots of spoilers for all makes and models (factory ones though). Its fiberglass, but lightweight, still good quality. I love the way it looks on the car. I was kind of nervous of how it would look at first but after i saw the finished result it was awesome.

I am in VA and never have a problem with the extra brake light , I was told it's illegal to have a extra brake light thats not working. Something about if its a brake light no matter how many you have it needs to work.

Only pic I have and I also remember there is a TON of sanding needed to get a perfect fit

Looks great! A lot better than some of the aftermarket ones too. I like that LED brake light on a rear spoiler. Should be perfectly legal in any states.

Yeah, the guys here talked about doing that, but built it up instead of sanding it down. Don't know if it saved them any trouble or not but it turned out well.
