I'm just curious to see what they look like. The pic on their website is horrible: http://www.stillen.com/Sportscars_de...d=63636&page=2

They must be horrible in person, and a rip. Look in the specials section and they have those and the roof spoiler as U/T, I am guessing customer return, at a lower price.

The roof spoiler looks like a universal type trunk spoiler that is sold in various lenghts, I think they just bought in bulk the right size, then overpriced the s*&t out of them.
The louvers look like they made them in the vaccumform toy making machine I had as a kid.

I've been looking for something like this but with the vents facing the other way like the oldschool mustangs had ya know what I'm talkin about. It needs to be painted the same color of the car and it will look good.

Get the ones on special and paint away. If the vents face the other way, you can't see out of them, and they would catch the wind and blow off.

you'd distrupt the airflow over the rear hatch with that thing.. prolly even cause more drag from early air flow separation.. dont do it.

The wind hits the louvers in this picture and glances off - if they faced the other way, they would be mini scoops and trap air, if this piece of crap is held on by double sided tape, off it would come.

As Cheston says, that roof spoiler cannot possibly be of any aerodynamic aid - could only cause trouble.

Of course, if you like the Camaro / Mustang early look, try adding this to the Stillen Wiindow Louvers:

Unless you got a huge wing on there. Then it probably would be perfect..directing air right onto it.

But the question would then be...why the hell do you have a huge wing on your car?

I did an aerodynamic study in my simulated wind tunnel. The green arrows reflect the "good air" caused by the Stillen Roof Spoiler contacting the simulated "big type wing". I think it does inhance the flow of "good air" causing a possible 10 to 15 increase in rwh, increased traction due to downforce, and +10 on fast and furious points.

Who cares about the rest...that's all I want.

I'll put it on the order with the fake Bov box, extra large caliper covers, electric supercharger, 4 turbonators, and some red fuzzy dice.

Good move on the Turbonators - they are a forum sponsor.

Turbonator appears on the top of the forums with the other drive by ads.

when air flows over the car, it usually follows the body line, until it separates right about where your deck lid is.

you should pick up any aero flow book.

or.

my wing is there so it can actually get into the airstream where it will get me downforce.

why have the air seperate early over the middle of the car, when i need it in the rear of the car?

Like the pic...

And yes I know all about airflow and downforce and upforce and drag and etc......that comment was more playing around more than anything.

Louvers should be banned on any car made after 1992

ouch, those are ugly. I actually love roof spoilers for some reason (old supra fan I guess)...but not for this car.
