Default Clicking Shifter?

Does anyone know how to modify or purchase a clicking shifter? Let me elaboarate... I had a friend who owned a z32 and when ever he shifted the shifter clicked at each gear, Kind of like a high sports car. I'm trying to figure out how to modify to achieve the effect, or is there a shifter/shift linkage or something of the sort that will achieve the desired effect. The click I'm talking about has been heard on several silverscreen cars such as Eleanor in Gone in 60seconds, some of the cars in (forgive me for saying this)FastNFurious. I've asked on other forums and it seems no one knows what I'm talking about. If anyone has any idea please let me know.

I know the sound you are talking about but I have no idea how to get it.... I would be interested in it too although I have never heard a shifter make this sound in person. Is it possible that was just movie sound effects and not a real option? Someone on here will know...
