Default Cutting OEM grill...

who here has done it, and do you have any tips for doing so?

I've been wanting to put a black mesh grill in, but I just dont want to put it over the factory grill. I want it to set in a bit deeper inside.

Snips and then use a dremel low speed to clean up the cuts.

I did mine using a hacksaw blade and a then using a dremel to finish off the little stubs left behind. I used layers of duct tape to cover and protect the parts of the bumper that didn't need cutting.

How do the various custom grills look when one installs them over the existing grill vs. cutting it out?
