Picture request - GReddy Side Skirts
Does anyone have a picture of a stock Z w/ the GReddy side skirts on?
I would like to see if the lines would match up w/ the stock bumper at all... or if it would just look plain retarded. Thanks.
(If anyone has these pics, please include as many angles as u can get a hold of)

it definitely would not line up... it attaches over the factory sideskirts and go down a little more on the ends... dont need pics... put it this way, if the front lip from greddy lines it up even what makes you think the factory bumper without a lip wouldline up?
This is a pic i saved a while back... i hope the owner doesnt mind that im posting a pic of his car.
As you can see from this pic... the GReddy lip seems to hang down about 1/2 an inch lower than the skirts...
That is why I would think the GReddy sides and the Z's front bumper might line up...
also... even if the lowest point of the sideskirts are a little lower, i would think it would still be okay. The skirts seem to be curved upwards a bit.
My thoughts are that the GReddy skirt at its lowest point (in the front) might be about the same as the stock mud guards... which line up pretty decent w/ the front bumper. Thats just what i think, which is why im asking for pics if anyone has any.

Hey!
Thanks Jergens! Not as bad as I initially thought it would be.
Doesnt line up right.... but I think it looks alright, its not horrible.
Jergens would you happen to have any pics of your car from the front/side? Im wondering how it looks from that angle.
Very clean ride btw... I looked up your previous posts and saw another thread with pics of your car in it, but nothing from the front.

Jergens has the right idea, I'm really liking it. I wouldn't think side skirts alone could work, but am convinced now that this look works well for the Z- not much of a fan of what front lips are out there for our car. I think that $$ could be put to much better use elsewhere. But I'm also wondering if u can post some angle shots of ur car. I am definitely thinking of a near-future mod..
Btw Jergens, how was parts/labor/paint? N where did u order skirts from? Thx.

Hey guys sorry it took a while to respond. Guys, I'll check my comp when I get home to see if I have anything so you can get an idea of the 3/4 angle. I think I have some older pictures that were night shots. I'll do what I can. Car is in the shop till (Fingers crossed) Friday.
As far as parts, the skirts are pretty inexpensive. I bought them from Z1 Automotive and lots of places carry these things. It shouldn't be hard to get it relatively quickly. As for labor, I installed them myself and it took about 30 minutes with my buddy.
Paint was done by a family friend who owns a paint shop, so I don't have a price. Probably like 100-200 bucks. But I really don't know sorry.
Oh yeah and thanks for the complements..

not the best picture...

thought I've since replaced the front bumper w/ this and got the sides repainted. I thought the sides by themselves looked fine but I must say that now the lines flow much better.

Ah nice car SimplyJ...
I like the Nismo Urethane bumper and was actually going to get it, but the driveeay at my work is too steep and i scratch often still w/ just my stock front bumper.... which is why im thinking of just doing the GReddy sideskirts... at least for now.
Thanks for the pics guys... and it would be much appreciated if you or Jergens could provide shots of the car at front angles...
Thanks again
liking the look so far guys.
