Default lambo doors

I was on ebay and I saw two sets of hinges, one set for around 4-5 hundred and another for 1300. whats the difference.

second questions is: are they annoying?

3rd does weather have an effect on them ex. do they not hold up in extreme heat or cold.

finally does anyone here sell em.

^^ If you gotta ask.......

I personally wouldn't get something like lambo doors hinges online. Try www.verticaldoors.com . Theirs are direct bolt-ons and from what I've heard, really good. They will also answer all your questions, well, except the "annoying" part. For that, check with memebers here, e.g. kcobean and others who have lambo hinges.

This is one of those mods you don't want to skimp on. The difference is going to be in the strength of the shocks, the quality of the metals in the hinge, and the accuracy of the machining. If you're going to do it, there are really two good options. VDI, which at least one of our sponsors sells, and GTFactory.

are they annoying? Not sure what you mean. They take some getting used to, which makes them dangerous for unfamiliar passengers. They're not "annoying" though.

If they are installed correctly, they will seal just as if they were stock, so leaking, etc. is a non-issue. My doors will lift themselves on hot days, but on cooler days, they take a little more help, but it's completely manageable.

Link you? Were you looking for the manufacturer web-site or the reseller website?

I'm actually getting a set installed right now... I did the absolutely wrong thing and jumped in and bought the cheapest set I could get on ebay that sounded like a great deal!!! Just to get to the point (ebay is an evil business), at least if you're as impatient as me. They were not as advertised, direct bolt on for 350z, s8^t!!! Needless to say they wouldn't work. They worked fine with the fenders off. After a lot of modifacation (5 days of grinding and fitting) and a great shop things are looking good.

You get what you pay for... Go for the GTfactory

If you want bolt on, GTF is hardly the way to go. That kit requires cutting, welding, painting, etc. It's a great looking kit, but DAMN it's a lot of work. You can plan on a GTF install costing you between 2 and 3K just in labor, and it is without a doubt irreversible.
