Default Carbon fiber Door and Inner pannel

Did a carbon fiber search on ebay and two things popped out.

-a complete door set that is carbon fiber ($700)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/350z-...06966926QQrdZ1

-inner panel of doors ($800)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...07068365QQrdZ1

What concerns me is that both seems to be from new small companies with little history. Was wonder if anyone on this forum have experience with them. Thx.

well both have good feedback ratings.....if I had the extra money I would be all over these pieces....I want the doors SSSSOOOOO bad!!!!!

Would the door panels work with the exterior doors???? I would think they should but if they dont it would be a costly mistake....an $865 mistake....

looks like the company that made the inner door panel forgot about the arm rest/switches.

The switches are on the arm rest. These pieces has nothing to do with the arm rest. I wonder how the door would hold up to door dings?

GT Door Factory makes Carbon Fiber Door Panels which are slimmer than stock to accommodate their vertical door hinges which go pretty much straight up. I talked to them a long time ago about them and I thought they said they were only about $300.00 for a set but I could be wrong. Worth checking out though.

seriously, unless your car is a track car with a full cage it would be stupid as hell to run CF doors on the sreet. You have ZERO protection in a collision. If someone T-Bones your gonna get a nice look at their front bumper as they go right through your car door.
The inner panels are cool, however the doors themselves are a big mistake to run on the street.

i work in the same complex as the compnay that is selling these panels. i stopped by and took a look at them. the carbon fiber pattern was done very nice, but the only thing is that you will loose the air vent in the doors. unless you would want to fabricate the panels. this was told to me by one of their employees. but over all the panels looked very good in person.

I just installed the GT factory panals and its the worst fitment I have ever seen. I will get some pics tomorrow. I am so pissed because you need those panals to use the GT factory kit and they could have done a much better job on fitment
