Default Tein hood dampers

anyone got them installed? i cant believe nissan still uses the "pole"
to hold up the hood...anyway the only pics i see is the one with the sti/wrx..
whatever it is. my main question is that will i loose me battery cover and
brake cover in order to have these? thanks

You can either remove the battery cover plastic area, or cut grooves in it that the dampers can fit into when the hood is down. I'd personally rather just keep my "pole".

I have them installed. You still keep your covers. The plastic on the outside of the covers has to be trimmed out. I like them, but the holes that were cut out look a little out of place. I posted pics in another hood damper thread.
