Top Secret Z33 Takata's mount???
Ok guys well i did a search and came up with nothing refering to this. I just picked up an 06 Z33 and will be doing an extreme conversion to the car for my shop. The problem i am having is the car will not be tracked or raced as it is pretty much just for advertising for my shop and i currently track my M3 . In my S2000 i use a bride/takata combo which is what i am leaning towards for this car also. the problem is in My S i have a 6pt Cusco roll cage with harness bar as you can see in the pics below. And it is my understanding that Cusco/safety 21 does not make a cage for the Z yet(still to be determined for sure) But in any case if anyone knows the Top Secret Widebody Z very well they will know the Recaro takata combo they use. the problem i am having is finding out how they mounted the takata's in that car as i know they do not have a roll cage in it. The pics i have found looks like they tapped into something behind the seat and i am guessing attachted eye bolts into something. Right now the thought i am being told is they tapped into the rear brace behind the seats under the Z cover. In any case if anyone has any information they could pass on about mounting these that way or of a company who makes a quality Harness bar that would be greatly appreciated thanks.

There are a number of harness bar options available for the Z. I believe Kirk Racing has a 4 or 6 point cage w/ harness bar. Will the roof open and close with the full Cusco cage in place on your S2K?

Since he's not going to track the car, I don't think he'll need something that extensive & $$$$. I'm at work right now but I have a link at home of a site that sells a single bar that is mounted around the B-Pillars. I believe a member here developed them. He was able to use it for his harnesses, mounting point for a camera, or even an extinguisher. I'll post the link when I get home.
Edit: Actually, I found it...here you go - http://www.bcrltd.net/

Ya that is pretty much what i was looking for. just a harness bar. as i don't really want to put a roll cage in the car unless it is a true JDM cage. I was told that Cusco/safety 21 does infact make a cage for the Z33 in 4,5,6 and 7 points. so i am waiting to hear more details about that. the kirk is nice but i see no points for harnesses. i will try to find the pic i am talking about and post it up of the TS Z33....

well after looking at that harness bar i think its pretty expensive. the bar is $500 when i could get that 4pt cage from kirk for $350. I just need to know if they offer harness mounts with that cage.
