the wait is finally over.....after two months and 5 days....i've never waited anything for soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long in my entire life.....but its worth the wait.
installed my 06 LEDs as soon as the UPS guy left.
my Z is a happy camper now......she wants to show it off at sundown.
"who are you trying to fool? you are an 03 , not an 06." i said.

wooooooho my 06 tail lights were waiting for me at home when i got back from work (thanks Jason )

fitted them right away, so easy!

they look fantastic, but there is one thing i dont like. The 06 lights dont seem to be smoked like the old tail lights. This is especially noticeable around the triangle reflector area. I was thinking some bats overlays to tint them, but Bats overlays are just too dark. Are there other precut overlays available, with less tint?

have a look here at the difference in tint

ok enough of the smoked talk, more 06 pics

and a comparo of the difference in light output.....LEDs on the right!

just headlights on

brakes on

That's because unlike the original Tail Lights, the newer '06 versions have a chrome surface that lies beneath the red plastic lens. The older Tails have black plastic lying beneath the red lens. This is why the originals tend to look somewhat darker in the area that you describe.

However, I think the '06 LED Tail Lights are much classier looking than the older originals. Besides, they look great in your pics. They were certainly worth the wait - weren't they?

ENJOY!!!!

nice tails......
i would say .....with the 06 LEDs the Z looks more and more like a 60 thousand dollar IMO...... just go look at a BMW 600 series and compare the rear ends of the two.

they arrived in perfect condition Jason, thanks to your college degree in packaging

thats two big packages in so many days, very impressed with the service at perfnissan

btw those cats are awesome, theyve liberated the Fuji setup, the gain in power is just unbelievable, its picked up so much more torque down low, and feels like it revs up so much quicker too

sweet!

If I had a college degree in packing I would have made use of my actual degree! HA!

Glad it worked out
