Qbnmissile,

Can you give me the 800# so I can order this nose mask? I prefer this model vs. the Nissan mask.

I got a small "highway" chip yesterday that this model would have prevented; the Nissan mask wouldn't.

I wonder what the Taliban would say when they hear that the infidel's cars wear bras on the road!!

Maybe they would prefer to drive around with the car cover on. Only take off the cover when parked in the garage.

I think that is the funniest thing I've read here in a loooong time!

For cracking me up, I bestow upon you a highly coveted Z-point!

I also have the nissan nose mask...works great then on a sunny day you can take it off and you don't have to worry about any tape lines...

I really don't know why, but the more I look at this mask, the more I like it.

Another 'yea' vote for the vinyl nose mask.

Goes on for long drives, canyon rides, or anytime I feel like it. 90% of the time it is in it's box in the garage.

It's nice to have available for when you need/want it.

Default Full Bra, Sports Bra and Bra-less

Got both on the car.

The Xpel Clear Bra on the bumper for daily 8 mi. drive to work. For spirited long drives thru the canyons and desert, the Colgan Sports and Full Bra is put on.

Keep in mind the Clear Bra will not protect your car from hard debris traveling at freeway speeds and when it rains, with no Bra, you're exposed.

I wasn't too sure about the clearbra thing, becoz of the price, and also the staning issues. Lovebug season in florida would mean that all the stains would show against the chromesilver body.
I bought the nissan nose mask, but then returned it, because if it doesn't rain here, the car might get wet sometimes from the stupid sprinklers, and I didn't want the paint to cloud up.
I guess I'll just have to pony up and get the bumper repainted. (maybe a 3 coat, instead of the crappy 2 coat job that nissan does)

Has anyone thought about getting the colgan hood vinyl sport bra for the hood and using it with the vinyl nissan nose mask? You can just buy the colgan sport bra separately. If they are both black vinyl, wonder if they would look OK used together?

If you haven't bought the Nissan Bra, it's more economical to buy the two piece Colgan (Nose and Sport) for $90 because the Sport bra alone cost $56.

I personally haven't seen a Nissan bra and a Colgan Sport bra on the same car but I would think it would match, as long as the Colgan is NOT the Carbon Fiber texture.

There is this one small tang near the headlight that I can't get to fit between the light assembly and the body panel. I'll have the dealer service department check it out (under a watchful eye).

Scafremon,

Is that the vinyl colgan or the carbon fiber colgan on your car? In my opinion it looks great. Thanks for the picture. Where did you get the two piece nose mask and sport bra? Price?

That is the standard Nissan nose mask.

I came up with a Do It Yourself method. Believe it or not, I'm using bungee cords.

I posted instructions at www.350zfrenzy.com, in the "Galleries" area.

Here is a link, but if you aren't already signed-up at that website, you may have to register.

Thumbs up

Awesome solution!!

Thanks for sharing.

One other question:

Any noticeable increase in the engine temperature since the plate covers almost half of the entire opening. Seems to be a poor design in Nissan's part to close off the sides of the grill.

Default Hey ZMADNEZ

Hey ZMADNEZ -- That is a badass pic of your Zs!!

In a couple of weeks I'm heading off to Florida for a few months for work. 2600 mi. one way and I'm going to run the Colgan bra for sure. You get a better bra with greater coverage for less money...seems to make sense to me...
