Default OMG Grille mod is a MUST

Doesn't matter if you get a $12 Chrome door trim grille, or over a $100 or even two aftermarket grille. Something silver and shiny in the grille area brings up a more aggressive, distinctive perspective of Z.

Z's front already resembled a human face without the grille. But it was more like a person's face with open mouth with blank expression: a big DUH. Now she's ANGRY. I did a door trim grille cuz I wanted that Ninja Turtle Teeth look. (Yes, I am young. Barely 21. I grew up watching it, along with Transformer) Now my Z seems like she wants to slash me with her Leonardo ninja blades.

Yes, I love the look. I am excited.
No, I am not on anything.
I know this belongs in the body mod forum,
but I just wanted to share feelings, not the MOD itself

Pic comin' up later today.

Maybe I'm in the minority. But I like the way the stock grille looks, which is black. I like the contrast it gives to the paint colour. If I were to do any grill change, I would cut the stock grill out all-togeter and leave it wide open when I go Turbo.

I definately think the stock black grill looks good with Lemans Sunset. I don't think I can get away with a silver/chrome grill. Nor would I want to.

I love how the nose grill looks. It is going with the concept of the Shelby Cobra open nose concept:

IMO, putting a grill that is not black just makes the nose of the car _look_ restrictive hence less agressive. This is just my opinion and myabe it's in the minority.

I'm with you!!!! I did the door trim mod and love it!!!! I only did the horizontal pieces however, and it looks great!!!!! If I had my choice though, I would get the true Nismo bumper with the single cross piece. I love that look.

++ 1 The Chrome grill really looks good on some colors.
I persnoally think that it really looks sweet on the super black ( i got it installed on mine ) really brings out the chrome highlights of the car.

On the other hand.......colors like the Lemans sunset can do without the grill. That color would look good without the grill.

Rice or not?? who cares.......thats a matter of opinion. If you like it, then get it....if you don't then don't. Simple is that. No need to whine or bit*h about how "rice" it looks.

Make sure you use super glue...eventually it'll come apart. The adhesive on the door trim does not hold too well in my experience.

I almost installed a new grille, but when I decided to get my rims I decided the contrast wouldn't match the new style. The grille was stainless steel and the rims and car are both black, it would've been too much contrast in the wrong location. I think I'm keeping stock grille now.

I have yet to see a grill mod, from plastic chrome strips to mesh grill inserts, that doesn't look cheap. The grill looks best left stock IMO unless you cut it out and put in a fat intercooler.

One.. ninja turtles.. cool.

Two I like the mod on your car.. I think it is the silver. Some colors I just don't like it at all. I personally have my car all blacked out so ... yeah. But anyhow props on your mod. Looks good with the silver paint.
