Best looking Wing Veilside VS NISMO
#21
i am planning on getting the full NISMO bodykit. i love the subtle spoiler. the Veilside is toeing the line that seperates tasteful bodykit and rice-land.
I see the obvious influence of the GT2 and it would look fantastic in the GT series, but i drive the streets and a wing like that is out of place on the streets.

i voted for the veilside. but the wing i liked is not the one included in the body kit ver3. i prefer the gt wing. like the following screen capture from the nitto video.

That is a badarse spoiler, how much did that run you? I would love to have that kind of spoiler, none of that gaude spoilers you see on Hondas and Acuras. Very Very classy. I wouldn't mind having one on my car!!! Good taste

I *love* the look of the kamanari from the side, but I don't like the 'cutout' appearance from behind. It would have looked so much better if they just filled in that area where the nissan logo is. Can't notice this much on a black car, but on a SS or CS it looks a little odd IMO.

As for the poll, Nismo got my vote. It's a future mod for me, whenever they start selling Nismo stuff directly in the States.

IMHO
I use to like the Nismo spoiler until i realized that it stopped too short before the back of the Z started to curve and drop down.
I like how it stretches front-ward to meet the corners of the tail lights but as far as extending back...it came back too short. This gives it the VW beetle appearance.
The double layers also make it look a little busy if you stare at it for too long
Maybe i'm the only one with that skewed perspective. The sloping hatch-back nature of the Z makes the lower back reaching spoilers more ideal.
then again..it's all subjective... tasteful wouldn't exist without tackiness.

the only one besides stock that doesnt look silly and ricy is the nismo one. the others look tacky and scream "look at me, im 'aftermarket'" but more the way people see civics. it just doesnt fit with that type of body style.
