After I do my S2000 Retro with a generic projector high beam, my lights insides will be painted ALL black. But I am starting to think, all black lights would look kinda wierd with a carbon fiber hood? To much black?

For the headlights, you can see if your local body shop can do them. M1 autobody that we work with does them for customers. It's worth a shot...

yeah, thanks for the info, the only dark housing headlights I've seen (that weren't just painted) were the carbon fiber ones on the gt500 nismo car and they are sooooo sweet!

You can DIY. It is time consuming, but well worth it for the look. I also had my outer lenses candy painted for an even more unique look since everyone seems to do one or the other with the usual being overlays

That first one with the CF hood and the black headlights does look like its alittle to much. Guess I am either not going CF hood, or I need to find a better color to paint it, like a dark silver or gunmetal.

A lot of people don't like the sharpe contrast between carbonfiber and some colors, but I do, my ideal color would be like a candy redline red with some gunmetal/or black rims, dark windows, carbon fiber/black healights, and a carbon fiber hood (not a big fan of big scoops & stuff but the first one in mrzipps.com doesn't look to bad@all imo)

anyone know where I can get it done in SoCal for cheap and with a guarantee? Clearcorners.com is way too expensive.

I also like contrast, I plan to get gunmetal rims with a nice tint and a CF hood on my LS. But from looking at that picture the black headlights with the CF just seems odd, makes the shape of the hood look alittle wierd bc the lights look like a part of it.

yeah, it may be a bit to much for some people, but your car would still look nice with a gm rims, cf hood, and tint

L337350- looks really good!

Sorry to change the subject, but do you have any trouble with the air duct you put in the bumper as far as water getting anywhere? just wondering, but very nice car.
(edit* just saw the topic right below talkin about it, haha)

I would like to see an angled pic showing the dark rims too if you have them.
