i have a DB Z and as i was backing out of the garage the other night, i scraped the side of my car across a metal flower pot that had been scooted a little towards the edge of the garage door, leaving a scratch about 6 ft. long all the way to the bare metal. the car has many other chips that were on it when i bought it so i decided to repaint the whole car. I took it to the best body shop around and they quoted me $2000. how much would you expect this job to cost? thanks for the help

2000 to repaint whole car is reeal cheap, to cheap if you ask me, id ask for a breakdown of exactly what there doing for that price.

Yup, $2000 for the whole car is very very cheap. I'd ask them in detail what steps they will do.

i got my old bens painted for that much(convertable), the paint looked good for about 6months then it started looking like the ipod nano screen. SCRATCHED. cheapest **** ever. dont do it man, i pampered that paint too.

On a side note...what about the price on 2 bumpers and side skirts off the car? (anyone done it?)

 

for Front Bumper, expect from $300 to $500. Samething for sideskirt. within the $500-600 for both sideskirt.

Hhaahaha paint tape ect to paint a car will cost ya about 700.00. Now add labor! If its 2k stay away! A good paint job will cost ya about 6k.
