Matt, the eyelid folows the same line as my vinyl version does, you can see the turn signal directly in front of you

if you can give us the weight of the CF, some of us can tell if it'll match whatever carbon weave we have on our car..

This is the same wave pattern as most of carbon fiber hoods. I don't think any hood out there uses 3K carbon sheet. Most of them are in 6K.
