What is the difference between D2R and D2C ?

D2C is like D2S, made for projector lenses.
D2R is for reflector lenses. It has a shield on one side of the bulb to prevent the light from scattering around.

The Z uses D2R.

thanks for the info

I saw some HID bults at ebay, they were saying D2C will fit both D2R and D2S.. is this true?

yes, D2C will fit D2R and D2S but the light output wont be a nice and neat beam.
